Once I made a Doodle for Google's birthday, everyone chose a game called Piñata for American children to play everyday. Implementing such a game on a computer requires a simple art style, a physics engine that supports JavaScript, and a smooth, efficient animation engine. These are technical details that are not discussed. Beyond technology, our group of people who are looking for happiness are eager to play Piñata in reality. That time in Mountain View, on the open space where there was a Tyrannosaurus skeleton at Google headquarters, we hung a real Piñata on the tree and took turns to play with bamboo poles until we could make a candy from the land. More than a dozen artists and engineers are happy like children.

It is a very pure, very simple, very happy experience. No matter how many troubles in the work, at least you have to reserve such a space for yourself, called the mood home, or whatever name you like, even if it is small, you have to have one. For me, in the process of participating in the Doodles project, I can communicate with the great scientists and artists of Doodles to communicate with time and space. I can interact with the small animations and games that I am designing and making. I can predict that the end users will see each. The joy of a Doodle, this is indeed a great thing.

Fortunately, Google can provide the right opportunity for people who are looking for happiness. Unfortunately, (I know for sure) many companies never consider the needs of employees. This is probably the company's genetic decision, and there is no way to force it. It is because of my ten years of work experience at Google that I will not hesitate to define the most important pursuit of my career as "happy."

In addition to happiness, there is a sense of history in ten years of career. Especially in the past ten years of Google China, I have had the privilege of experiencing history, which is a big storm in my life. Unfortunately, many of the history cannot be elaborated or evaluated. The so-called spring and autumn brushwork is not only a political compromise of the historical officials, but also a great wisdom to examine history from a higher dimension. Google and China have written too emotionally, and they lack strength. Too straightforward, the right to speak is easily rudely deprived; too detailed, it is inevitable to fall into the infinite loop of opposition between theory and motivation.

Many years later, when the word "Internet" no longer has the spirit of industrial leadership, when access to information is as free as breathing air, human historians and artificial intelligence history robots will be co-authored together such as "The History of Internet Information Review" and "Freedom of Technology Industry." History of Competition and Regional Protection, History of Cyber Political Ecology and Netizens' Ideology, History of Information Exchange, Tests on Prohibited Internet Articles and Sensitive Network Keywords, Network Economy and Political Barriers, and Internet Background Academic works, such as "The Birth and Death of Wikipedia" and "The Globalization of Social Networks". Only when the rhythm slows down can there be enough wakingness to examine history from different perspectives. Today, even if it is a history of the nails, when it is handed over to future generations, many will have new controversies and different angles of interpretation?

At that time, my descendants may be able to tell their children and grandchildren in a very gossip tone that in a historic moment when a company and a government cannot agree on Internet censorship on a certain day of the year, there are people on the ancestors of our family. Witness the history at the scene. Sometimes, I really want to go through the future, just to assess, what we highly value today is not forgotten by the children and grandchildren.

In general, I like a "slow life" that is not passive in nature. "Happiness" and "diversity" are the source of strength for this life. After leaving Google, I firmly believe that this life is my future.

There are more and more ideas, and the mind and body are getting older. Next time, please come slower.
